WHY? The purpose of LongCon is to facilitate conversation. These conversations take place through informal social interaction. By Socializing over table games, podcasting, meals, guided dialogs and time together, LongCon makes it possible to connect with old friends, and deepen relationships with new ones. WHEN? LongCon is June 29th, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM WHERE? COTS PEAK, 22 E Second St, Naches, WA 98937 WHO? Humans. Childcare is available for children 8 years old and younger. HOW MUCH? $30.00 per ticket. $22.00 per Child who is in childcare. SCHEDULE: Arrive at Cots Peak Coffee. Pulled Pork from D'nile Provided for lunch Drip Coffee provided-- Other food and drinks available for purchase -THE MAIN ROOM —9:30am Arrive at Cots Peak —9:45 am Introduction with vision and schedule —10:00 am Introduce vendor table and authors (contact us if you want to vend!) —10:20-5:30 Games --5:30 Pick up kids from Childcare -Podcasting Room —10:30 am: Operating business and Real Estate in WA. —12:00 pm: Thoughts on Homeschooling. —Lunch Break —2:00 pm: Experiential Education. —3:00 pm Literature-in-the round. —5:30 Pick up kids from CHILDCARE ———————————————————————————————————— WHAT ELSE IS HAPPENING AT THE LONGCON?! Various artists will be peddling there sub-creations. PLEASE BRING MONEY to purchase books, art, and games written and created by people you know. If you don’t want to bring cash, please take the time to download Cashapp. TELL ME MORE ABOUT CHILDCARE! Childcare is being held at the Odman Farm which is 12 min. from D’Nile. The babysitters will be Kristi Odman, Tijuana Easton and one more lady. Kids will enjoy organized indoor and outdoor activities, so pack adequate clothing and shoes. We have a 15 child limit so please reserve soon! Ages 8 yrs and under. 4 spots left. Children above 8 years old may attend the event at full price. Breastfeeding children are welcome to stay with mom. Priced at only $22 per child for up to 8 hours. Please bring pak n play and anything else your child needs for naps/necessities. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner/Snack will be provided: Breakfast: Oatmeal, Apples Lunch: Mac n Cheese and chicken;Broccoli Snack/Dinner: pizza/hot dogs snacks: popcorn; cheese and apples Childcare drop off and pick up is 9:15 AM to 5:30PM. Parents may utilize childcare for all or part of that time, but please communicate your plans with the sitters when you drop off your children.
